Orgin story
The Wendeergo is a cannibalistic spirit resembling a humanoid deer that is decaying. In some forms, the Wendeergo is the size of a human, while in others, it can be fifteen feet tall. The earliest description of the Wendigo was that it had a similar appearance to an animated corpse, with a skeleton-like, thin body with gray or black skin, sunken eyes, bloody mouth, yellow fangs and a long, slimy tongue. Later descriptions desribed to have the head of a deer skull with long skinny limbs on all fours. The first Wendeergo was supposedly a lost hunter part of the Algonqan tribe in Alaska. While the tribe tried to find him, he was no where to be found for miles. 4 months passed and they assumed the hunter had starved by then, until fellow members started to go missing, following blood trails, they were able to find the corpses. One of the three corpes were still barely alive from last night, she was able to identify the killer as the lost hunter. She said he was skin and bones, wearing a deer skull, and he had been eating them. While the tribe could not find the killer during the day, they returned home. The next day, the bodies were gone as if they were never there. Soon, 2 months passed without any signs of the killer while activetly looking. However, one night, they were visited by the killer who no longer was human, and was a tall boney deer figure with a skull head. It managed to kill 5 tribe members before running away. The next day, 3 tribe members left for safety in a village far away, while the rest of the tribe stayed to defend their home. The 3 tribe members arrived at the village a week later and told the tales of the Wendeergo. While the village did not believe the tribe, a search party went to their tribe land to find the entire tribe dead with their corpes impaled into tree branches high off the ground. They returned to spread new, to only have their village slowly dissapear as well. Many decades later there has been many missing people reports and sightings of this beast at night.
